This crossing of the Rappahannock River and at the Culpeper-Fauquier County Line was located on a map from the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, Government Printing Office, Washington, 1891-1895. The American Memory website (Library of Congress) now has a number of digital images of showing Culpeper County during the Civil War period.
