Primary Sources are actual family pages of the Bible, or photocopies or a microfilm of the original family pages. We will upon request post here contributed images of original family pages.
Secondary Sources are transcriptions that may be found in family letters, old books, WPA transcriptions, &c.
Transcriptions should include the publishing information so a starting date of the inscriptions can be established. Example:
HOLY BIBLE Containing
The Old and New Testaments
: NEW YORK For the American Bible Society 1830.
Be aware that a Bible may contain entries that pre-date the Bibles original publication date.
