Discussion

The most significant result so far is the connection between two different children of Moses Norman, born 1679. Certainly, finding a most recent common ancestor (MRCA) from over 325 years ago validates a lot of traditional research. Now, of great interest, is to find a living descendant that ties back to Richard Norman, Jr., b. ca. 1623. There is a well-documented line of descent from Richard Norman, Jr. which settled in and around Newport, Rhode Island. These are the descendants of Richard's son, John S. Norman.
